St Saviourβs School recently held its much-anticipated Annual Sports Day, bringing together pupils from Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 for a vibrant day of athletics, teamwork, and house spirit.
Throughout the day, pupils competed enthusiastically in a variety of track and field events. For Key Stage 2, the athletics programme featured a range of competitive races including the 800m, 400m, 200m, 100m, and the relay race. Pupils also participated in a number of traditional fun races such as the egg and spoon race, three-legged race, beanbag race, shuttle relay, and sack race, all of which added excitement and laughter to the day
Across all key stages, pupils proudly represented their houses, demonstrating determination, teamwork, and excellent sportsmanship. The atmosphere was filled with cheering from staff, pupils, and parents as competitors gave their best in each event. At the end of a thrilling day of competition, the final house standings were announced: π₯ 1st Place β Egret π₯ 2nd Place β Oriole π₯ 3rd Place β Hornbill π 4th Place β Whydah
Congratulations to Egret House for emerging as the overall winners, and well done to all the pupils who participated and contributed to making the day such a memorable celebration of sport and community.
